Ceramic Urchins

My love for the ocean and clay merged when I started throwing spherical shapes on the wheel. I began using needle tipped slip bottles to create texture on the pots similar to dried sea urchin skeletons. The process has evolved from there with using mason stains to add color to the dots, and the form and designs have branched off from the initial sea urchin pattern.
